A story of passion for the mountains
Camping Gran Paradiso, located in Valsavarenche in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, was born in the 70s in a flat area at 1820 meters above sea level immersed in a beautiful forest of fir and larch trees with the majestic Gran Paradiso massif (4,061 m) as a natural frame.
In 1990 Francesco “Franco” Caviglia, Honorary Alpine Guide with various mountaineering ascents in Italy, Nepal, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia and Argentina, took over the campsite together with his family, welcoming mountain lovers from all over the world with kindness and competence.
Yesterday as today with commitment and passion we welcome people every day in a familiar and comfortable environment thanks to welcoming chalets, rustic bungalows, large pitches, a typical Alpine refuge and a warm bar, always in contact with nature.
Camping Gran Paradiso has obtained the Gran Paradiso National Park Quality Mark.
